國立清華大學工程與系統科學系誠徵電機工程專長(能源系統整合)之專任教師

 

The Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions in the research area of electrical engineering with emphasis on circuit designs or device processes for energy system integration. Additional research expertise in metrology and inspection, signal processing, electronic instrumentation, energy-efficient circuit and system design is highly preferred. All levels of faculty positions are available. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in engineering, applied science, or a closely related discipline and demonstrate promising excellence in research and teaching.

In addition to exercising personal expertise in research, new faculty members are advised to closely collaborate with other colleagues and would be responsible for offering both undergraduate and graduate level courses. These courses include those in basic and advanced electrical engineering and in energy related areas, such as Microelectronics, Electrical Circuits, Electronics Experiments, Signals and Systems, Semiconductor Devices Physics, Integrated Circuit Design etc. Teaching in English is required in some courses.

A letter of application, curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and plans,  teaching plans, a summary of teaching evaluations (if available), and a list of three references should be sent before February 21st, 2018. Please note that reference letters are not required for the moment but should be readily available upon request. All levels of faculty positions are available. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in engineering, applied science, or a closely related discipline and demonstrate promising excellence in research and teaching.
